  1. Shut off the water supply to the shower.
  2. Remove the existing showerhead by unscrewing the shower arm.
  3. Install the new showerhead onto the shower arm.
  4. If the showerhead is not compatible with the existing shower arm, use a shower arm adapter.
  5. Secure the showerhead with a wrench, if necessary.
  6. Clean any remaining plumbers’ tape from the shower arm threads.
  7. Wrap the threads in new plumbers’ tape (included) in a clockwise direction.
  8. Hand-tighten the shower filter onto the shower arm until snug.
