Apple Pie

Apple Pie - Living with Ivey

Ingredients

  • cup of almond flour
  • cup of coconut flour
  • flax eggs
  • tbs of arrowroot powder
  • tbs of maple syrup
  • tbs of avocado oil
  • apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • tbs lemon juice
  • tsp pumpkin pie
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • cup of oats
  • tsp ground flax seed
  • tsp of cinnamon
  • cup of raw cashews, soaked in boiling water for 5 minutes

Instructions

Mold into pie dish (rolling pin optional)

Filling:
3 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 tbs lemon juice
1 tsp pumpkin pie
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbs maple syrup
1 tsp arrowroot powder

Toss together and arrange in pie dish
top with: stir together
1/2 cup oats
1 tbs maple syrup
1 tbs avocado oil
1 tsp ground flax seed
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Bake at 375Β° for 45 minutes

Drizzle with:
Cashew cream (combine in high speed blender)
1 cup raw cashews, soaked in boiling water for 5 minutes
3/4 cup ice cold water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
