Due to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties, Curcumin, found in turmeric, is a medicinal superfood proven to improve gut health, even treating ulcerative colitis, ease arthritis and chronic pain, purify blood and help to eliminate toxins, and boost memory and brain health by increasing the brain growth hormone known as BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor).

Ginger, hemp and chia seeds are some of my go to superfoods to fight inflammation.

Ingredients

  • frozen banana
  • cup frozen mango
  • cup frozen pineapple
  • tbs fresh, grated and peeled turmeric
  • tbs fresh, grated and peeled ginger
  • tbs chia seeds
  • tbs hemp seeds
  • cup unsweetened almond milk

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until creamy
