Chinese Green Beans - Living with Ivey

Just like from your favorite takeout joint but without the inflammatory seed oils, sugar and soy.

Ingredients

  • lb green beans
  • tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • tbsp water
  • garlic cloves, thinly sliced or minced
  • tsp freshly grated ginger
  • tbsp coconut aminos
  • tbsp rice wine vinegar

Instructions

  • In a large lidded skillet, add toasted sesame oil, water and green beans
  • Add lid and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes
  • Remove lid, add garlic and cook for 1 minute
  • Add ginger, coconut aminos and rice wine vinegar and cook for additional 2-3 minutes until liquid has evaporated and beans are crisped
  • Transfer to plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds
