INGREDIENTS

  • 1 asparagus bunch, washed and trimmed
  • 2 olive oil
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 0.5 lemon
  • pinch of flaky sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Using a lidded cast iron, add asparagus, 1 tablespoon olive oil and water
  • Cover with lid and cook over medium high heat for 2-3 minutes
  • Remove lid
  • Add garlic and remaining tablespoon of olive oil
  • Cook on medium heat uncovered for 2-3 additional minutes until charred and crispy
  • Finish with lemon juice
  • Garnish with lemon zest and sea salt
