Ingredients
- lb ahi tuna steak
- Salt and pepper
- tbs toasted sesame oil
- English cucumber
- cup cherry tomatoes
- mango
- avocado
- packed cups cilantro
- tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- tablespoons coconut aminos
- tablespoons lime juice (half a lime)
- teaspoon honey
- cup toasted sesame oil
- Blend all ingredients in a vitamix, adding sesame oil last and gradually to emulsify
Instructions
- Cut tuna steak into 1.5 inch thick strips
- Salt and pepper each sideΒ
- Over medium high heat addΒ 1 tablespoon sesame oil to a cast iron pan
- Add tuna strips and sear each side for 30 seconds to 1 minute
- Set aside
- Halve and chop cucumber
- Halve cherry tomatoes
- Dice mango
- Dice avocado
- Toss with cilantro vinaigrette and set aside
- Slice tuna into slices
- Arrange on a plateΒ
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds andΒ LWI sugar free pickled onions.Β
