Basil Vinaigrette - Living with Ivey

Description

Easy, healthy and delicious, this is perfect slathered on everything from green to veggies to fish or chicken. One of the top alkalizing foods, basil is high in antioxidants and great for digestion.

Ingredients

  • cup lime juice (1 large lime)
  • tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
  • garlic clove
  • packed cups of fresh washed basil
  • teaspoon raw unfiltered honey
  • cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine everything in a high speed blender or food processor, adding in olive oil last and gradually to emulsify.
