Soy gets a bad rap, but it’s the processed soy that’s the culprit. The soy protein isolates, GMO soybeans, the fake soy cheese, ice cream and weird β€œmeats” are the issue, heavily processed containing chemicals and unhealthy fats. REAL soy, meaning real food like the physical soybean, edamame, or fermented soy like tofu, miso, tempeh, is very beneficial to health. Organic edamame (soybeans) is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and fiber, edamame is a great addition to your diet.

1 CUP OF EDAMAME CONTAINS:

20 grams of protein

20 grams of fiber

20% of your daily Vitamin C intake

20% of your daily Iron intake

10% of your daily Calcium intake

16% of your daily Vitamin A intake

Ingredients

  • cups frozen edamame
  • tablespoons tahini
  • tablespoons coconut amino
  • cup lime juice (1 lime)
  • teaspoon ginger
  • teaspoon garlic
  • cup ice water

Instructions

  • Boil edamame for 10 minutes
  • Drain and add to a high speed blender
  • Add all remaining ingredients except ice water
  • Pulse blender to combineΒ 
  • Add in ice water last while blender runs on low to create creamy and fluffy texture
