Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry
Ingredients
- lbs lean grass-fed beef, cut into chunks or cubes (or substitute certified humane chicken breast)
- tablespoons olive oil, divided
- tablespoons toasted sesame oil, divided
- tablespoons filtered water
- sliced shallot
- teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- gloves of minced garlic
- head of broccoli (about 2 cups of florets)
- cups of sliced shiitake mushrooms
- cup coconut aminos
- Fresh cilantro and toasted sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a large lidded skillet or sautΓ© pan, add 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Add shallots and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat, until translucent
- Add broccoli florets, mushrooms and water and place the lid on. Cook for 5 minutes
- Remove lid, add remaining oil, ginger, garlic, coconut aminos, and beef.
- SautΓ© for 3-5 minutes
- Transfer to a bowl or plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and fresh cilantro.
