INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive in a cast iron skillet on high to medium heat
- While your pan is heating up, pat dry your salmon thoroughly with a paper towel
- Salt the salmon thoroughly with a salt grinder (I never measure this but id say 1/4 tsp per filet)
- Add your salmon to the skillet FLESH SIDE DOWN
- Sear for 5-6 minutes without moving the filets
- Flip the filets and transfer your skillet directly to the oven on broil
- Finish in the oven for 5 minutes
- The skins will be very easy to remove once cooked. I just peel it off with tongs.
